I bought two top clamps from rhinobuild, they have been an excellent buy, enabling us to set out brickwork splash courses, in readiness for timber frame construction. Using the clamps and the Dori corner blocks has helped us get cavities to exact sizes. They paid for themselves in the first week, I’d thoroughly recommend them.

The ability to put these profiles up in awkward positions is priceless. Also to add a deadman up a door which can be set up in a few minutes really saves time and one less thing to keep levelling. Like most people we have used block for muck boards but decided to treat ourselves to a couple of mortar board stands which becomes really handy when you stack one on top of each other when you’re in a high awkward spot.

I’ve been looking at the top clamp for Agee months now and eventually decided to buy a couple of them, I opened the box and was surprised how well they are built, I attached one to some blockwork and a profile, made sure everything was good and left a young workmate to carry on building that side of the extension.
The thing I really like is I do not have to check the profile every few courses in case of movement, with these top clamps they do not move a millimetre, I would tell any bricklayer to have a couple of these, they are brilliant
