Our story

Built in Pendle since 2020

Tough, well-made tools for bricklayers, designed and manufactured in Britain since 2020.

Rhinobuild began as Rhino Build Ltd, incorporated on 15 December 2020 to make tough, well-made metal tools for bricklayers. Our first workshop, from January 2021, was Unit 37 at Lomeshaye Business Village, Nelson: just 662 sq ft.

As our profiles, clamps, dori blocks and stands grew, so did we: Unit 30 in December 2021, then Units 161 & 165 in October 2022, where we opened our first factory shop, an annex so tradespeople could collect kit straight from where it is made. In May 2023 we became Rhinobuild Ltd, and that July we moved to 7 Kenyon Road, Brierfield.

On 3 January 2023, still at Units 161 & 165, we set up our sister company, Rhinobuild Engineering Services Ltd, taking the fabrication skills and equipment behind our tools into subcontract engineering: welded and painted steel, stainless and aluminium parts made to customers’ drawings. It grew with us to Kenyon Road and Pendle, and in January 2025 was first awarded ISO 9001 and BS EN 1090 EXC2, behind its work in defence, automotive and infrastructure.

Since March 2024 our fifth home has been Units 2–3, Pendle Industrial Estate, Southfield Street, Nelson: 12,260 sq ft, over eighteen times our first workshop. The factory shop has moved with us every time.

In November 2024 we joined Made in Britain, the official mark for British manufacturers, backing our commitment to making our tools here.

Then, in November 2026, Rhinobuild Engineering Services moved into a home of its own on the same estate, Units 4b & 5, leaving all of Units 2–3 to our tools business for stock, the factory and the factory shop. Together we now work from nearly 40,000 sq ft, almost 60 times that first workshop.
